Axe Chops-
Works on core and shoulder strength. Try to keep the arms locked out and rotate through the upper back and shoulder girdle while maintaining tension in the core.
Bird Dog-
Core and low back strength. Try to keep the torso relatively still while focusing on the movement of the limbs.
Dead bug-
Core strength. Try to keep the low back from arching off the floor while moving the limbs. Slow and controlled here is the key.
Anti-rotation planks-
Core strength. With this drill again you want to move the limbs while keeping the torso relatively steady. Slow and controlled.
Core and hip combo-
A flow of a few exercises to work on core strength. Simple but effective.
This is an advanced exercise to work on lower body strength, shoulder strength as well as core and balance. This can be useful in sport specific training such as basketball
