Levator Scauplae release-
Upper back/shoulder region. This is to decrease tension in the upper back region.
Suboccipital release-
Upper neck region- used to decrease tension at the base of the skull. Sometimes helpful with tension headaches
Bow n Arrow row-
Works on upper back and neck mobility as well as scapular/shoulder strength. Keep the knees together and on the floor and turning the head as well.
Field Goal to Y-
Scapular and rotator cuff strength. There are muscles that cross the shoulder and shoulder blade that also cross the neck. This can be used in neck rehab.
Thoracic rotation and overhead mobility-
Great active drill to work on overhead mobility and thoracic rotation. Can be used in shoulder and neck applications.
SNAGs- This is a drill to help improve rotation of the neck. This should ideally be followed up with an active drill to reinforce any motion gained.
